Part A, Privacy

What we collect

  • · Enquiry forms (contact & group): name, email, phone, message; for group enquiries also preferred dates, group size, occasion.
  • · Analytics: anonymised usage data via Google Analytics (IP-anonymised).
  • · Live chat (Chat2): anything you provide in a chat.
  • · We do not run a marketing CRM, and we do not use advertising pixels.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and arrange your stay or group booking; to improve the website via aggregate analytics; not for marketing without your separate consent.

Bookings & payment

Bookings and payments are processed by our booking provider, Bookings247 (bookings247.com.au), under their own terms and privacy practices. Bookings made via external travel sites are governed by those sites, see our Terms.

Third parties & overseas disclosure

  • · Chat2: live chat.
  • · Bookings247 (Australia): bookings/payments.

Retention, access, correction & complaints

Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed, then deleted. Request access or correction at admin@magneticglamping.com.au. Unresolved complaints: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), oaic.gov.au.

Part B, Cookies & tracking

We keep tracking light.

Essential / functional (active by default): Google Analytics 4 (IP-anonymised) via Consent Mode v2; Chat2 live chat; Cloudflare Turnstile form protection.

Non-essential (require consent): none at present. We use no advertising or remarketing pixels.

A consent notice appears on first visit; you can manage cookies in your browser. The Bookings247 system may set its own cookies during booking.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the current version.
